Easter

The Easter Bunny was coming and we needed to get ready....in our undies apparently!
I love holidays, but I am enjoying them even more now that Elle is getting excited about them.  She is really getting into all of the traditions that go along with each holiday!

We dyed eggs...naked...

Silly face!

Check out the concentration.  She took her job very seriously.

Asthon and Aiden were over for dinner, but they had dyed eggs with Nana Kathy before they came.  They checked it out and were done.  :)

This is serious business....

Gramma and Grampa Easter Bunny came early.  The kids were once again spoiled!

Elise was very intrigued by the colorful basket of goodies.  I found it to was difficult filling her basket, when she can't eat candy....soon enough!

Elle LOVES having popcorm with grampa, and she got her very own box!  Each grandkid got a new beach towel for the summer!

Time to get ready for the Easter Bunny.  Just like Santa, we need to leave treats.  We left him some "baby" carrots.  Again, Elle took this job very seriously.

Proud of her work and lil' sis was like what is going on...you are letting her hold me!?!?!

Good morning....
The hunt was on for Easter eggs and her basket.

Elle found her basket behind the couch. The Easter Bunny brought her so much that it didn't all fit in her basket!  Lucky little lady.

Of course, you then take a break of egg hunting to try everything on, and play with e.v.e.r.y toy!

Once we got her to hunt again, she found Elise's basket.  Grampa was excited....Elise didn't know what to think!

Elle "unpacked" Elise's basket for her.  What a nice helper!

I wear my sunglasses at night.....How adorable is this!  She wasn't so sure about them.  Reaching for them, but not getting them.  It was funny.

Back to the goodies the Easter Bunny brought here!

After a sugar filled breakfast of jelly beans, sweet tarts and gum....we were off to church where you have to sit still and be quiet...what a great combination!???

Why do we keep trying?  Out of the 6-10 pictures I took this was the best and only Elle is looking.  It WILL get better...right???

Our family of four.

Gramma and Grampa with all of their grandchildren!

After church we headed to Fanny Hill for brunch and guess who was there...THE EASTER BUNNY!

Elle didn't eat anything, because she had to keep checking on the Easter Bunny and saying hi.  We literally took turns taking walks with her!

It is a little much to go to a brunch with 4 small children.  Next year will be eating brunch at someones house...then we don't have to worry about the kids running around!

Matching outfits!  Love this!

Spring, means lambing season.  We headed to a local farm that opens to the community to view the chicks, lambs, pigs and pony rides.  (you will noticed NO pictures of Elise as she was strapped to my front in the bjorn - we went on a weekend that David worked.  Thanks for the help Nana Kathy!)

I think Aiden wanted to kiss a chick....

I do it all by myself.  Poor chicks get strangled by the kids.

Checking out the mommy sheep and baby lamb.

Feeding time.  Aiden was good letting Elle do it.  This girl isn't afraid of anything!

Aiden.... don't look so happy!

Elle's turn....

I think she could have snuggled that goat all day!  Such a little nurturing mommy.

More animals.

Our last stop before home was a pony ride.  Ashton didn't want to ride, maybe next year!

Hi mom!

One more Easter celebation at Grandma Maureen's and Papa Coach's.  Our annual Easter Egg hunt.  Thank goodness we had a nice day, because each kid had to find 30+ eggs!

The annual grandchildren picture minus Elise who was napping. :)  Each year we have added another child....

Once all of the eggs are found, it is time to see what is in them.  Another serious job...
At Grandma Maureen's house, the Easter Bunny puts $$ in the eggs!  Elle was happy to open Elise's eggs too.  I think she would have kept the $$ if we wouldn't have stopped her.  That's what big sisters are for, stealing from their siblings.
